The Palazzo Del Sale, meaning ‘house of salt’, is so-called because it used to be inhabited by the salt-seller Bartolo who provided the Island with paraffin for their lamps and open bags of salt. The high ceilings and walls of stone which are embedded with inserted details in a unique and pleasant style, give an original feel to the place.

Each of the 6 rooms is spacious and unique. The bathrooms are comfortable and are made with strikingly original local materials, such as lava stone and terracotta, taking on strong characteristics from the Sicilian landscape.

Food & beverage
A continental breakfast buffet is served between 08.00 and 10.00 and is included in the room rate. The Palazzo Del Sale does not have a restaurant.

From Catania Fontanarossa airport (60 km).
