Who has not heard of Gouda and Edam cheese? At the farm ALIDA HOEVE in Volendam there they make Edam and Gouda farmer’s cheese according to an old recipe. The farm is open for the public to see this handicraft.

FROM AMSTERDAM
On the A-10 you follow the exit S-116 to Volendam. When you enter the town Volendam you go on the roundabout left. When you drive in Volendam you go straight ahead. After 3 kilometers you go right {after kras recycling} if you follow the road you enter the centre of Volendam. And there on the dike there is Old Dutch.
