Enjoy the culinary delights of the region in our restaurant. Local produce is delivered daily, from which our chef Karl-Heinz Lott and his team create typical dishes from the region of Baden with modern twists.
Our wine cellar is well-stocked with fine local wines and we have been distilling brandy as well as the famous Black Forest cherry brandy here for generations.
Area information
The wine and holiday destination of Appenweier-Nesselried is situated in the idyllic foothills between the Rhine and the Black Forest.
Many hiking routes originate from Nesselried, and continue through the beautiful area of Rebland or branch off towards the Black Forest.
We will happily provide you with the necessary maps and material and a Vesper for your travels around the area. Cyclists can choose between easy-going cycle routes around the Rhine and sporty mountain bike tours through the Black Forest. We also rent out bikes.

Wednesday and Thursday are days of rest. Therefore you will only reach us by phone between 07:00 and 09:00 a.m. on these days.
Breakfast is served as usual, but afterwards the restaurant is closed.
