This Medieval palazzo, located in the heart of Siracusa (Island of Ortigia), has been transformed into comfortable accommodation, only metres from the sea.
Impressive stonework, dramatic archways, beamed ceilings and four-poster beds all contribute to this romantic setting. Modern amenities are understated to preserve the integrity of the palace. There is assembly and banquet halls that hold up to 150 people.
Under the palace, you can visit the oldest Miqwè (Jewish ritual bath) in Europe, that dates from the Byzantine era. Guided tours are also offered.

The 26 suites, each one comprised of one/2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom and terrace are all fully-equipped and furnished for your comfort

Breakfast is served in buffet form, while beverages are served at your table by the staff.
During the summer, breakfast includes typical Sicilian granita (semi-frozen dessert of sugar, water, and flavourings, similar to a sorbet), while in winter freshly squeezed orange juice is offered.
Area information
The Alla Giudecca is located centrally in the old Hebrew quarter. In the undergrounds, about 18 metres deep, there is an original purifying bath (Miqwe) that can be visited every hour.
The hotel's structure is annexed to San Giovannello's church, in the past used as synagogue.
