Our residence dates from the 16th century and is just around the corner from the famous Via Fillungo, between the San Frediano Church and the Palazzo Pfanner.
Situated in the city centre, our guest house resides peacefully down a typically Italian side street. We are close to all the major attractions in an excellent location within the heart of the city walls; there are shops and restaurants nearby for your convenience.
The rooms may provide modern amenities but they are traditionally decorated; some even have wooden ceilings and beams; in warm and welcoming colours that make for comfortable and cosy accommodation. Our guest house is of a subdued but subtly grand design suited to its position in the ancient city.

The Superior Rooms feature an en suite bathroom and the Standard Rooms have a shared bathroom on the same floor.
Please specify on booking whether you would prefer twin beds or one Queen-size bed.

Each room contains a breakfast corner; a tray with all you need for a rich Italian breakfast, including brioches, croissants, cookies, milk, fruit juices and coffee pads to be used in all coffee makers available in the common areas of the hotel.
In the afternoon, a tea maker will be made available to flavour a good cup of tea in the privacy of one's room, or in the cosy Luis XV parlour.

Our guesthouse is situated in the pedestrian area of Lucca. In the town centre there are many good restaurants and pizzerias, where you can taste the local cuisine with its typical dishes. Special events are organised at the Theatre Del Giglio as well as the summer and winter Puccini festivals that take place in Lucca. You can visit interesting museums and historic buildings, such as Pinacoteca Mansi with its paintings and frescos, Palazzo Pfanner a palace and gardens now converted into a museum of art, the Museum Della Cattedrale, Palazzo Guinigi, the Ducal Palace and the houses of the famous composers Puccini and Boccherini.
Lucca’s position in Tuscany is ideal, especially to visit Florence, Pisa and the country villages near Siena.
